The following expert is from an email sent to TracRac on
Friday, December 23, 2005, from Michael Reddell of Cincinnati, OH.

Attached are a couple pictures of my truck after I rolled it with your rack attached.

I was driving east bound on the 275 expressway near Hebron, KY and
hit ice on an overpass about 8:00am, November 26th, 2005. I slid
sideways leaving the roadway and was sent into the grass median between,
and into the guardrail at 65 mph. I hit it nearly straight-on and
was shot into the air 10 to 15 feet landing on the passenger door
on the top of the guardrail, then flipped over again and landed on
my wheels facing west on the other side of the barrier, about 75
feet from where I first hit it.
Oh, and me, not a scratch! Just a little bruised shoulder from the
seat belt. Notice in the pictures that the rack was undamaged and
I believe contributed to my safety. As soon as I bought another truck,
I ordered a new Tracrac for it.
Thanks Tracrac for making a very sturdy rack system.
Sincerely,
Michael Reddell
